Thank you for your interest in volunteering. The staff and volunteers at the Alliance of AIDS
Services-Carolina welcome your interest and look
forward to providing you with information about
HIV/AIDS, the needs of our community and how you can
become more involved. Please click here for a

All
individuals interested in becoming volunteers for
the Alliance are required to complete one of our
general training sessions.
For information about provisional volunteer
opportunities before the next scheduled training
sessions, please call Camille Koonce at:

Our general volunteer training sessions are designed
to provide information that is crucial to ensuring a
positive volunteer experience. You will learn the
difference between HIV and AIDS, about HIV
prevention and treatment, hear from individuals
living with HIV/AIDS, learn about the services the
Alliance provides, as well as our policies and
expectations of volunteers.

8:00am-12:30pm
Registration/check in begins
at 7:30am, training starts at 8:00am.
To
attend one of these sessions, please complete and
return the
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
or complete our
combined on-line registration form.
In addition, we ask attendees to pay a fee of $25 to
cover the costs of materials and refreshments. We do offer
the opportunity to apply for one of our limited
number of scholarships resulting in full waiver of
this fee. There is a place on the registration form
that you can indicate your desire to apply for a
scholarship.

like to work on a service project with the Alliance,
