In addition to a monetary donation direct to us, we also benefit from your participation in the following programs:
makes it easy to raise money for the Alliance through your regular weekly grocery trip to Kroger. All you need is the specially-bar-coded gift card (that you load and reload at any Kroger customer service desk), and then use it to pay for your groceries. It works just like a reloadable debit card. As a charitable gift, Kroger gives the Alliance of the money placed on our gift cards. It costs you nothing—just the few seconds of time it takes you to reload, and now you can even reload by phone with a credit card! The cards never expire and you can use it in addition to your Kroger Plus card.
The Alliance receives 5% of all money placed on our Kroger Gift Cards—which means that for every $5,000 of groceries purchased at Kroger, the Alliance earns $250 in cash. This money is a gift from Kroger and does not cost gift card users anything. Please consider getting extra cards to give to friends who could be convinced to help our work in the community. And yes, your friends who shop at Kroger in other cities and states can help us too!
If your Kroger has a gas station, you can pay for your gas using your gift card as well. It also works at the Kroger Pharmacy and Kroger customer service desk for things like stamps, etc. We’ve earned well over $5,000 using this program. You can help us earn more!

rovides people a way to support their favorite cause for free. GoodSearch is a search engine with a unique social mission which involves giving back to charity with every Web search. For each search you do from the GoodSearch site, GoodSearch advertisers donate one cent to AAS-C. Think a penny isn’t worth bothering about? Test yourself to see how many searches you do during a day, then multiply that by 365 days, by scores of people. In 2011, the ASPCA earned well over $200 A MONTH from GoodSearch alone. (Yes, really). What can you help us earn this year? Know that if you sign up/sign in at GoodSearch site, it will keep track of the money you personally raise (by shopping, dining or searching) for AAS-C.
