This year’s Red Ribbon Ride will wind through the gentle, rolling hills of southwestern Wake County. A great time to be getting outside, getting some exercise, making new friends, and supporting a very worthy program of health care.
We have seen tremendous progress in the fight against HIV, but the crisis is far from over. While the number of those dying from the disease is dramatically down, the number of new infections has been rising at an alarming rate, especially in the South.
The Alliance has been at the forefront of tackling HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections. Through our testing and prevention programs, we protect those threatened by HIV. Through our Food Bank (42.2 Tons Last Year), CLEAR program, Support Groups, and Faith Ministries we support individuals over a 5-county area.
Over 86 cents of every dollar go to client support and services!
Now is the time to stay on the course for one great cycling event to support one worthy cause!
Until the Cure … we will be here!
