Jovan McLean

Prevention Specialist

Dr. Jovan McLean was born and Reared in Raeford, NC. Jovan is happily married to Mr. Dontre. Jovon earned a Doctoral Degree in Pastoral Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, GA. He is currently engaged in the community through the area of HIV/AIDS Advocacy, Leadership, Social Justice, and LGBTQ+ issues. He served on several boards around HIV. Including Co-Chair NC Regional Quality Council, Member of NC Consumer Work Group, and Co-Chair of the Cumberland County HIV Task Force. Jovan is also a funded Grant Writer. He is the Servant Leader (Pastor) of A Place Called Hope Church an affirming ministry that offers Hope to All God’s Children. His motto is to "Empower You to Empower Others."
